Samuel & Co
I am a Partner and Head of Property Law at the Devon branch of McMillan Williams. The Devon office opened in February 2012, following my relocation back to my hometown, and continues to thrive, providing Crediton and the surrounding community with a local legal service.
I have previously worked in North Devon, Essex, South London and Sevenoaks which has given me extensive experience in a range of conveyancing, in both rural and urban environments. I never shy away from a barn conversion or a thatched roof property and being a farmer’s daughter have a passion for dealing with the more complex issues of property transactions in the countryside.
I have extensive experience in troubleshooting difficult files, dealing with complex transactions and resolving potential future issues.
I specialise in the following:
I have previously acted for high net worth individuals, developers and investors alike.
I have a Masters Degree in Law focusing on critiquing and improving current practice. This is currently being put to good use improving the efficiency of the McMillan Williams property transaction processes.
In my spare time, I enjoy horse riding and helping with the running of the family dairy farm.
"Monica was extremely efficient throughout the sale of our property and the purchase of our new property. I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone requiring an expert in conveyancing. I would also like to mention Kate Bennett, Jessica Courtney and Katie Adams who ably supported Monica and always seemed very conversant with our situation. Very well done to all of them." - N Proctor (Dec 2015)
