I am a Clinical Negligence Solicitor at McMillan Williams based in Brighton, handling an extensive range of cases covering all aspects of medical care. I have had success in a number of complex and high value cases involving surgical error, IVF treatment, brain injury sustained at birth, suicide during care and GP negligence.I also have experience in misdiagnosis and neglect in care homes and have developed a special interest in cases involving cancer – particularly breast cancer.
I was notably the lead solicitor in the claims against disgraced breast surgeon Ian Paterson, infamous for adopting the cleavage sparing mastectomy.
I aim to achieve interim payments to cover the cost of treatment, rehabilitation, medical aid and equipment as I recognise the importance of claimants being able to continue with their lives during litigation.I am also known for my technical expertise and never losing sight of what is important to the client. I ensure that the client remains fully informed and in control of their claim.
