Solicitor +3 years PQE with experience of residential conveyancing work.
To provide a high quality, efficient legal service, undertaking all aspects of residential conveyancing work associated with the acquisition and disposal of land or property, or any interest in land, under the leadership of the Head of Department.
- To undertake all types of transactional work with regards to purchases to include, but not limited to; approving draft contract, raising enquiries, checking search results, obtaining and checking mortgage offers, checking responses to enquiries, passing the file to the Title Checker for report, Exchange of Contracts, dealing with Replies to Requisitions, preparing Completion Packs, Completion of the matter, submission of the SDLT, dealing with any Land Registry Requirements, complying with post completion lease requirements.
- To undertake all types of transactional work with regards to sales to include, but not limited to; drafting contract, preparing and sending draft contract package, sending Enquiries and Contracts to clients, Sending Replies to Enquiries to Buyer’s Solicitors, Exchange of Contracts, sending TR1 forms to clients, dealing with Replies to Requisitions, preparing Completion Packs, Completion of the matter.
- To undertake conveyancing work concerning other types of transactions to include, but not limited to; dealing with Title issues, remortgages, shared ownership, right to buy, transfers of equity, as well as acting for receivers, administrators and liquidators on the disposal of distressed properties and estates, both leasehold and freehold.
Conduct of a sizeable caseload of all aspects of residential conveyancing work, under limited supervision.
