I was drawn to working for McMillan Williams primarily because of their forward thinking and progressive nature as a firm. McMillan Williams prides itself on achieving a high level of client care and it’s desire to become one of the largest firms in the UK is very attractive. With it’s close network of skilled solicitors who work in a number of different legal areas, the opportunity to grow with the firm whilst developing skills in other specialisms was an important factor.

I have been working in the Residential Property Department since June 2014. I assist my fee earner with all stages of the conveyancing transaction.

I am training to be a solicitor through 'Equivalent Means' and will be joining the Civil Litigation Department in March of this year.

McMillan Williams offers a highly competitive internal mooting competition presenting the opportunity to boost your advocacy skills. I have been involved in a number of different advocacy competitions, including the semi-finals of the Oxford University Press National Mooting Competition as well as appearing in front of the Court of Appeal judges in the University of Brighton Internal Mooting competition at the Supreme Court.

I arrange for the firm to be involved in raising money for the local charity, Rockinghorse Children's Charity. By participating in the Santa Dash last year, we raised £550.00 for the charity and we are now fundraising for the Chicken Run in March of this year.
