Profile

I chose McMillan Williams due to its strong reputation, dynamic environment and respectable work ethic. Not only does the firm impress through its variety of work, but it is also a promoter of high standards delivered at all levels of seniority.

I have previously been involved in both administrative and research-based work within litigation and employment, however, I look forward to studying and practicing in the personal injury department. Due to my high interest in the versatility of the law, I am ready to be involved in all types of activities which will impact upon the overall results of that particular department.

Due to its inclusive and transparent environment, the McMillan Williams team of professionals help create the perfect platform for progression which allows young talent to thrive in their legal careers.

Being familiar with the mooting process, due to my participation in two such competitions during university, the McMillan Williams Advocacy contest is an opportunity to exercise and develop a plethora of skills required to become a legal professional. The firm sets itself apart through this unique activity which allows its staff to shine and represent the high standards that McMillan Williams imposes.

  • Commercial experience in a City law firm with great exposure to drafting and research work, including liaising with various fee earners and clients.

  • Gained invaluable work experience being an active member of several pro bono legal clinics during university, one of which was the Innocence Project UK, which allowed me to work with cases of alleged miscarriages of justice.
