Since joining the Firm in 2013 I have come a long way and have gained a vast amount of experience both in terms of legal knowledge and personal development.
I started my MW career working in the Sevenoaks branch as a Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Paralegal for one of the firm's Senior Solicitors, Philip Scarles.
In March 2015, I became a Trainee Solicitor working with Mike Turner, one of the department's Senior Solicitors and Partners. I assisted him with his complex Multi-Track caseload whilst also running lower valued cases under his supervision. The work was extremely challenging but highly conducive to learning and personal development.
In September 2015, I moved to the Fulham office in order to complete my Conveyancing training seat. I assisted Amit Sathwara in the day to day running of his files and learnt a great deal about the non-contentious legal world.
At present I am back doing what I love best, Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence; the area of law to which I intend to qualify. I am currently based in the New Addington office working with one the firm's Executives, Timothy Pyant.
In 2014, I was fortunate enough to obtain an honorary mention for my efforts in the first round of the Advocacy Competition for outstanding advocacy. I then went on to assist the winner of the competition in both the Semi Final and the Final at the Royal Courts of Justice acting as Co-Counsel.
In 2015, I managed to go a step further and made it to the Semi-Final at the Croydon County Court. It has been an invaluable learning experience to have been so heavily involved with the competition for two years in a row
