MW's Head of Personal Injury, Joanna Bailey, is pleased to have been re-accreddited by the Law Society as a Personal Injury Panel Member
“I am delighted to be reaccredited by the Law Society for this scheme. The Law Society confirm that this a scheme “which covers all work undertaken by solicitors and suitably qualified fellows and members of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), on behalf of victims and their dependants, who have suffered personal injuries or fatal injuries as a result of an alleged act of negligence or breach of statutory duty”.
Joanna has been accredited since 01/01/2002 and since 2012 has been an assessor for the panel, seeking to ensure that those applying to it show they have the knowledge and experience to represent their client in a fair and clear way often in complex circumstances. Whilst many lawyers practice this area of law, accreditation is currently held by only 50 practitioners in Greater London.
Joanna further explained:-
“It is always a privilege and to be trusted by a client and their family to represent them to seek fair compensation when things go wrong through no fault of their own on the road, at work or in a public place. I am proud to lead our team at MW specialising in this area of the law”.
