Licensed Conveyancer - Property Law
I qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in April 2013. Before this time I gained many, many, years of experience in different aspects of conveyancing progressing from a legal secretary in the 1990s to my present role as a Licensed Conveyancer, through hard work, determination and commitment.
I am often asked what is the difference between a Licensed Conveyancer and Solicitor? The simple answer is that a Licensed Conveyancer is a person who has qualified through home study whilst working and specializes in residential property/conveyancing only, whilst at the same time gaining invaluable practical experience 'on the job'. A solicitor normally attends university and covers various subjects including law.
My conveyancing expertise lies in freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and remortgages. I have excellent time management skills which means I can prioritize where needed and can meet any deadlines, where set.
I am proactive and always on hand to answer client's queries when they arise by telephone or by email and I go out of my way, where the situation demands that extra support the client may require to make the conveyancing journey as stress fee as possible for the client.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, going to the theatre to watch musicals, spending time with my husband, 3 cats and other members of my family and travelling to different parts of the world including Europe, Asia and the USA.
