Profile

McMillan Williams is a well-known regional firm offering the best possible service to their clients. I firmly believe in the core values and the culture of McMillan Williams and it is a pleasure to work for such a respected law firm.

Previously to joining McMillan Williams, I had the opportunity to gain work experience at Credit Suisse with their in-house Litigation Department, Fountain Court Chambers in Commercial Litigation and Fisher Meredith dealing with Immigration and Mental Health Law.

I have previously been part of the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury team in the Sevenoaks office. This was beneficial as personal injury and clinical negligence has been heavily focused on in the media with the Jackson Reforms, it was a pleasure to be apart of something that is still continuously changing. Within the first three months of joining McMillan Williams, I was supervised and ran a fully contested case to trial which we subsequently won in favour of our clients

Being part of the residential property department at Wallington has been extremely rewarding. I have been given the opportunity to work alongside Sonia Balrai who provided an extensive amount of guidance. I have been able to liaise with clients on a day to day basis. I have been able to build a rapport with other solicitor firms and estate agents. I am thoroughly enjoying conveyancing and look forward to further developing my understanding of the various departments within McMillan Williams.

Every year trainee solicitors and paralegals are given a golden opportunity to participate in the annual Advocacy Competition. It is a key learning experience as you are able to develop vital skills which will fuel your career as a solicitor.
