I successfully acted on behalf of a client in a complex contentious probate matter relating to an estate valued at £1.6m, involving issues of fraudulent stock transfers, dissipation of assets, loan agreements and partnership agreements. Advising client in relation to successful interlocutory applications (strike out, summary judgment and delivery up applications) and successfully recovering costs.
I successfully acted on behalf of a creditor to an estate for recovery of loans made to the deceased, involving issues of invalid loan agreements, false accounting and dishonesty.
I advised a charity on the death of a trustee and helped to resolve contentious issues surrounding property held by the deceased trustee on trust for the charity.
I successfully settled a personal injury matter relating to a serious road traffic accident, reaching a settlement of £1,281,000. I liaised with the insurance company to obtain rehabilitation services for the client including the adaptation of the client’s house as a result of the disability due to injury, issuing proceedings, making applications to appoint litigation friend, organising experts and reports and organising and attending joint settlement meeting. Including a Deputyship application to appoint the spouse of injured client due to a serious head injury causing the client to lack capacity to manage his own affairs. Dealing with the settlement, drafting advice with counsel for the court and attending a private room appointment with Master for approving the settlement.

I was a parent governor at my children's primary school for 7 years. I currently volunteer with a charity serving food to the homeless in Charing Cross once a month and volunteering with the charity to attend old people's homes on special events organized by the charity.
