Partner - Property Disputes

I head up the Property Litigation and General Civil Litigation Department based at MW Reigate, dealing with all aspects of Property Litigation including:

  • Landlord and Tenant
  • Commercial Litigation
  • Professional Negligence
  • Missing Freeholder Applications

Educated at Charterhouse School in Godalming, I graduated in Law from King’s College, London University in 1984.

I trained and worked in Central London firms before moving to practice in Reigate for 10 years before I joined McMillan Williams.

My approach to litigation has been honed through years of experience and balances a strong empathy and a willingness to fight for my client with the need to be independent realistic and commercial.

What My Clients Say About Me

"I cannot thank you enough for all you achieved for us. You were "wickedly" brilliant!" - Mrs O (Sep 2017)

Recent Successes

  • Several successes in the Court of Appeal included the reported cases of Pinnock v Rochester and Messih v McMillan Williams.
  • Advising the Financial Times in a dispute with a well-known spread betting company regarding intellectual property rights.
  • Winning a multi-million pound banking claim against a major high street bank, securing the then largest interim payment ever awarded.

Other Interests

I used to teach music and enjoy going to concerts and the opera. I also enjoy playing tennis and squash regularly and spending time with my young family.
