I was fortunate to be able to start my career at MW as a Paralegal in the Injury department in Hove, a particular area of interest for me. Under supervision I was given the responsibility of running a caseload of low value injury claims and have gained valuable expertise from such ‘hands on’ experience.
Having been promoted to Trainee Solicitor in September 2016 I remain in the Injury department for my first seat and continue to develop further knowledge and skills. Part of my role involves taking new enquiries for not only Personal Injury claims but also Clinical Negligence matters and the latter is something I would like to explore further during my career at MW.
Prior to starting at MW I volunteered for 6 months at Brighton Housing Trust, in association with the Duty Solicitor Scheme. I also undertook some pro bono work at Brighton Leasehold Advice Clinic.
