I applied to McMillan Williams as they are an expanding and progressive firm with an accessible, local feel. The firm provides excellent opportunities for career development and training for all paralegals and trainees in a variety of practice areas.

I am a member of the Commercial Property team. My time in this department has allowed me to gain hands-on experience in many aspects of conveyancing. With the support and supervision of the team, you are allowed to take on considerable responsibility early on, which facilitates fast learning. As a trainee, I look forward to developing my knowledge in this area.

The structured training provided at McMillan Williams demonstrates the clear focus the firm has towards the progression and professional development of their staff

McMillan Williams holds an annual advocacy competition for all trainees and paralegals. I am looking forward to partaking in this year’s event and furthering my advocacy skills in a supportive environment.

I completed my LPC with Distinction with the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Assessment. During my legal studies, I was an adviser at the Citizens Advice Bureau dealing with the vast range of legal issues that impact my local community. My most recent role was as a legal assistant at a newly established law firm involved in diverse areas of law.
