I am an experienced Criminal Litigator. I was trained by a Stipendiary Magistrate and Peer Reviewer and as such my work has always been client and detail focused. I have dealt with cases ranging from Motoring to Murder and have experience in Courts nationwide.

I am an accredited Duty Solicitor. I like to personally deal with clients starting at the Police Station stage to conclusion whether that be at the Station itself or Court.

My attributes are well suited to trials, which I specialise in, and this accounts for my high success rates. I am well known and regarded in the profession by colleagues, other practitioners and clients alike.

Recent Successes

  • I have applied to stay two trials where I felt the level of charge was manipulated and it was improper to prosecute the Defendant.

  • I have successfully defended a Prosecution Appeal against the grant of bail for my client from the Magistrates Court to the Crown Court.

  • I recently made representations against the extension of police bail on behalf of my client before the Magistrates Court. The extension was denied.

  • I challenged the interpretation of the Education Act Legislation by the Court and was successful in my submissions that there is a defence to a Prosecution under s444. The Prosecution charged a client with breach of a Restraining Order. It was said he had contacted his children whilst in the presence of his ex partner whom was the subject of the Order. I made representations this was against the nature of the terms set by the Judge who had provided that contact was envisaged and  that although the children were mentioned in the order they were not named individually. The matter was withdrawn prior to trial.
