MW Solicitors has a strong national presence which is evident from its expanding network of offices. Expansion is indicative of a firm that is able to acclimatise well within a competitive legal market, thus making it less vulnerable during economic uncertainty and an ideal place to build a career in law.
I am currently a Trainee Solicitor in the Commercial Property Department in Hove. Since joining MW Solicitors, I have been involved in a range of Commercial and Residential property matters. Commercial matters include landlord and tenant lease renewals, grant of new lease and assignments, drafting of licences for alterations and authorised guarantee agreements. Our clients include, but are not limited to, Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs), retail chains and developers. With regards to Residential work, I have undertaken freehold and leasehold transactions, as well as dealt with re-mortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions and bridging finance.
My interest in this area of law stems from my keen observation of how fast paced changes to legislation can impact the commercial property market, not to mention the impending changes required to accommodate Brexit. I find this enthusing as it demands the use of lateral thinking within a challenging environment.
During the course of my career I have also developed excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate easily with both colleagues and clients. Additionally, I have demonstrated my ability to build long lasting relationships and reach effective and bespoke solutions for my clients. I look forward to developing these skills and qualifying as a solicitor with the firm.
