One of the many reasons why I applied to McMillan Williams is because of the firm’s aim to make quality legal services accessible to everyone. This is evident in the firm’s rapid expansion and great reputation in the South of England. Not only do McMillan Williams provide a wide range of services to clients, but also a range of opportunities to staff members. I am attracted to the firm’s focus on excellent in-house training which provides trainees with support and allows them to grow within the firm. This is important to me because I want to train at a firm which provides good-quality training and the opportunity to develop my career.

After working as a Paralegal in the Residential Property Department in Worthing, I have gained firsthand experience in dealing with a range of property transactions such as sales, purchases, remortgages, lease extensions and transfers of equity. Having been a Paralegal for a year, I have now secured a Training Contract with McMillan Williams as of September 2019 and I hope that during my training I can gain the experience and knowledge needed to become a qualified solicitor.
