COMMUNITIES & CHARITIES

Our employees are instrumental in the annual charity selection process by offering their nominations and voting for our charity partner. Following our most recent vote, we are pleased to confirm that our charity partner for 2023/24 is ‘PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide’.

According to current statistics, suicide is the biggest killer of people aged 35 and under in the UK. PAPYRUS believes that suicide is preventable and offer advice and support to young people or anyone concerned for a young person to help keep them safe from suicide.

The charity has also started a suicide prevention helpline, HOPELINE247 which is staffed by trained suicide prevention advises and is a free and confidential call, text and email service, which is available 24 hours, 365 days a year.

They also deliver suicide prevention education and training packages to thousands of people each year, to create safer communities across the UK.

We are very proud to support PAPYRUS and we hope to raise as much money as possible to assist the fantastic work that PAPYRUS do.
